In late 2003, the owners of Mount Misery Bed & Breakfast in St. Michaels, Md., decided it wouldn't be much use wooing would-be innkeepers, so they marketed it as a private home. It sold, for $1.5 million, to Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. link (subscription)

Well, not effusive. Not two-beers-down at the local micro. Not what you'd call entirely void of bitter irony. But not very small. Small, yeah okay. But not very small.
Right. bile beans on my part. makes me a bit hard on the big guy sometimes. still: smaller than just small. could we emend to wee?
